I'd still love to see this truck be produced for the general public, it's gorgeous.

Also about the tamiya shocks, man These shocks are awsome, if you put them together correctly they work great, if you sell them on ebay for a decent price i'll buy them.

dude good luck with your f-150. let me give you some advice, use a drop of super glue on the hindge screw's, when racing these screws tend to back out. also read all of the f-150's forum theres good info there. most of all drive it to scale. it cant compete with Slash as far as quality but it can in scale realism.

Yeah I wanted to try the F-150 for myself, people have complained about it not being able to handle brushless power and stuff,
which I wasnt gonna go that route anyhow. I do plan on threadlocking those screws you mentioned.
Most of the Slash class is, is a beat and bang fest, people would probably use my truck as a target and that would ruin my fun.
They keep asking me to buy a slash for that class, but I dont like the way the slash is. It's just a rustler dressed up like a Corr Truck.
Tamiya started this class before Traxxas even did. It just shocked alot of people, easpecially the hardcore fans.
I guess this Tamiya F-150 is a Corr Truck right?

I'll start reading that forum now. thanks for helping me

HERE IS SOME BIG NEW'S! I was looking at the back of rc car actions current magazine and they have a picture of a true to scale desert truck and guess which company is making it! None other than TEAM ASSOCIATED!! go to www.rc10.com. they only show like half of the front of the truck so i dont know if its electric or gas. Darren at thundertech is in real trouble when team associated realease's their scale corr truck , I love the thundertech truck but team associated will probably be a much better design.

So since its going to be nitro maybe it wont affect Thundertech sales to much. And I hope that associatd doesnt take the cheap way out with independent suspension, They better give us what we all want and that is a solid axel true to scale Pro 4 corr truck

Associated has something good, but Traxxas' detail can't hold a candle to what Thundertech has. Only problem is when will Thundertech actually sell it? Not just pre orders.

I hear ya man but the good thing for the thundertech crew is that the associated truck is Nitro and it doesnt appear to have a solid axel. Many people that are into scale rc will not want to deal with the headache of nitro. So that being said I think that thundertech still has a Chance . Also the slash isnt a scale looking truck chassie.
