Sean: Is the thottle wide open when you're trying it? You might want to put some more oil in the glow plug hole, and through the backplate into the crankcase, and just turn it over a bunch of times without the plug in it. It may be that castor oil gum on the cylinder and piston are making it sticky, so it won't "pop" like they usually do. If ordinary lube oil doesn't work, try spraying some WD-40 in there. It will dissolve most nasty stuff and won't hurt anything. The week after St. Louis I took mine to the "Jersey Coast Sport Fliers", another club I belong to, and passed my pilot's test. The old Stick made me look good, even when she ran out of fuel just after the trim test, and the flaps helped me to make a decent deadstick, which is also part of it.
