I'm building a Mousse Can Muffler for my TT 36. I've got a 5 oz can and a 4 oz can.... Does anyone know what the optimal mousse can size is for this engine? How about header length?

I've heard that the best way to tune one of these is to mount everything up, fire up the engine and record the rpm's. Cut about 1/4 in off the header and record rpm's again. repeat. Once the rpm's start falling off, cut 1/4 more and then stop.

That sounds like a lot of cutting... besides, i'd like to scavenge 2 in off the pipe for my next mousse can muffer!! I'm soooo cheap! Actually I haven't found a good source for Aluminum tubbing.. My lhs only carries brass tubbing in this size....

ask around and see what people funflying with 32's are proping them with. then work the rpm recordings.
personally on my 32sx moussed I like an 11/4 snipped to about 10.5/4. The combo brings me to just under 16000 with fast enough transition to get me out of a trouble spot.
