Status: offline 		Well, just when i was about to get a hawk pro some 9 months ago, the weather got good and i discovered 3d in the rc plane world and havn't looked back. I was out at the field last weekend and saw some guys 3ding the heke out of there nitro helis and the heli crave got turned on again.
Here is my current situation, i can do basic flight with my light machines corona and hover everything but nose in.

I am once again looking at the hawk pro and here is what i have come up with

I would then split the order into 2-4 different orders and save 20-30 dollars on each (depending on the savings for that month)
I will not be able to completely afford this heli until my birthday in late may but i am thinking i could start saving up by selling my corona, xtm x-cellerator, and nitro tc3 plus.
Hopefully could get a good 300-400 dollars toward the heli. The wrest could be my birthday present i guese.

Status: offline 		Hello If I were you I would go on ebay and buy a used raptor 30 or 60 some might even include everything (RTF) because TT Raptors are realitively cheep to fix incase of crash and parts are readily available. Most likely less expensive also. You talking about spending about $800 you can find a nice RTF for that.

Status: offline 		You will certainly find the Hawk Pro with the OS37 and 401 gyro to be a great combo. It will take you well into 3D with relatively little maintenance and low parts cost when you do have an "unintended" landing But there are much better remote glow adapters then the Dubro one, and I think overall, this combo would be better:

If you can afford a bit more for the Futaba 7C radio, I would go that route also.

Status: offline 		I actaully already have 2 heli capable radio's. Both being hitec optic 6's. But when i went to formualte the order without the radio included in the package i found it would be almost 5 bucks cheaper to buy it with the radio. LOL
