And then I got a picture of this guy. He seemed to constantly wear a BIIIIGGG smile.

Maybe he is happily married,--------- or maybe he was happy about his new plane....

I cant say...

(Nice talking to you, J. ) I'm hoping to get my own Tamjets A4 from Ali later this year,---- when I finish the L39, Rafale, EuroSport, and another Rafale.......

Hi Adil,

Is that your jetmart F14? What have you got powering it? Great photos.

Thanks,

Craig.

Craig,

You are correct. Adil's F-14 is a Jetmart product.

No, tylers, you must be mistaken, He won an award for it and it was announced beforehand that you had to fly your aircraft to be eligible for an award. Oh you know, you actually are right....He never flew it, but... Yet he did win an award and he accepted it.

Hey Str8shooter, you must not have heard Frank say That because of the insane wind and weather conditions awards were given out to some models that did not fly, he did not get an award for best performance or flight but did get a award for engineering excellence other people got awards too and also did not fly or even build or paint their models. Many people know and have seen Adil fly his F14 in bad weather conditions many times before and know that there must have been good reason why the plane did not fly this weekend for one many of us under the tent must have told him not to chance it at least a dozen times, two he had just recived a new set of landing gear that not to mention cost a small fortune but because of late delivery were not installed or tested in the plane prior to the event and a decision was made not to put them in at the event since they were not tested yet and with Adil safety comes first! you did see the accident that happened on sunday when a plane on roll out veered and hit someone. The award was well deserved, if you knew the complexity that goes into a model that has a swept wing mechanics twin turbine and scale rotating landing gear then you would agree that a award for engineering excellence was more then well deserved.

If you look at the above photo of the f14 the older right landing gear has major tow out due to many many flights and is pretty worn out hence the reason for the new redesigned and untested landing gear

Hey there,

It seems as though a lot of well deserved pilots actually planned in advance and worked very hard to get down to Florida and even fly untested or re-maidened fixed aircraft on the Wednesday prior.
Insane wind? are you aware of how many pilots did fly in that "insane wind", probably hundreds, where are their awards?..

Don't make lame excuses my friend, what's right is right and what's wrong is wrong and never the two shall meet.

Here's an question, if the jet wasn't ready and now you disclose that really hadn't a chance of being ready, why bring it? Why not give someone else a chance who actually flew.

Mentioning that accident has nothing to do with screwing more deserved pilots out of awards because of politics.
