The first day I had my nitro buggy it took less than 5 minutes for it to run off down the parking lot at full throttle.
i live in apartments and there is a long line of garage doors opposite a long line of parked cars.
i was lucky the car decided to head for the garages and not the cars. It left a long black strip up my neighbors garage door.
i dont drive it here anymore because all of the signal noise from the apartments and all the garages.
i only get about 100ft range before.. . . well you know.

try running a failsafe, they cost about £10 in england so you could probably find one for $15 - $20 of your US Dollars, it will bring your buggy to a preset position (mine is usually cut throttle and put the brakes on about 60%)

as for the Range, try better batteries or maybe theres a glitch in your radio set, go try it in an open field and see if the same thing happens, i doubt there is anything wrong with running it near apartments is a big problem, my Savage works fine in my Garden.

possibly an electrical fault
