Update for QQ-Yak 102":

Our QQ-Yak 102" assembly manual is updated to show correct way of pull-pull installation. Please check www.qqaircraft.com in couple of hours.

Regards,
Reza Gh.

EduardoC -> RE: Updates to Assembly Manuals (2/28/2007 10:40:50 PM)

i suppose this modification is due to the "breaking" cable of the rudder?

Rezagh -> RE: Updates to Assembly Manuals (2/28/2007 10:43:56 PM)

More due to mis-installation and cable pulling out of the sleeve.

Thank you,
Reza

Update for QQ-Yak 69":

I'd like to emphasize on the fact that you need to use minimum of 130 oz-in digital servos for this plane. Please do not use analog servos if you can and if you decide to use analog servos, make sure to use metal gear and minimum torque of 180 oz-in.

QQ Yak 69" can you use DS8411SA servos?

Rezagh -> RE: Updates to Assembly Manuals (6/26/2007 4:42:48 AM)

Yes, you can.

bob_nj -> RE: Updates to Assembly Manuals (6/26/2007 9:19:47 PM)

When will the GEN III manuals be online?

QQ Yak 69" can you use DS8411SA servos?

Do you know or could you measure the overall length of this aircraft?

Rezagh -> RE: Updates to Assembly Manuals (6/27/2007 3:35:35 AM)

I'm not really sure what Quique wants to do about this but I suspect we will be using the same manual since changes are not that significant and won't affect the assembly.

bob_nj -> RE: Updates to Assembly Manuals (6/27/2007 9:14:13 AM)

So does the Gen III have all the same hardware inclusions with it, like the titanium pushrods, ball links, cf tubes, sfg's, CF rudder horn, composite landing gear, pull pull hardware, wing bags and canopy cover?

Thanks
Bob

How about an update for the elevator cables in the 49" Yak. Step 3 and 7 both state tha the upper and lower slot are for the right servo arm connection. Wich one is it?

Will you be posting update for mounting DA85 in Pitts Python 100?

Rezagh -> RE: Updates to Assembly Manuals (4/9/2008 11:17:02 PM)

Sure. It's here www.RCModelAviator.com/QQAC/DA85Conversion.pdf
Thank you for reminding me.

Reza

snobird -> RE: Updates to Assembly Manuals (5/16/2008 2:06:33 PM)

Just started to assemble my Pitts Python and "no bolts to install the landing gear".. What size are the installed blind nuts ? Hope they are not metric, as I will not be able to get those at the local hardware store !!

Jeff Foley -> RE: Updates to Assembly Manuals (7/4/2008 3:28:54 PM)

I think this has been mentioned in another thread......but there is no mention of installing the tailwheel and how it is set up in the Python manual. Also, the manual addition on installing the DA-85 is excellent.

Hey Reaza the manual for the Gen3 and the gen4 are all Gen2 manuals and i cant tell the info i need on them. Is this mistake and do you have a manual that depicts the gen 4 in and out?

Rezagh -> RE: Updates to Assembly Manuals (7/14/2008 3:29:46 PM)

G4 and G3 are the same in assembly with G2. Quique didn't feel the need of new assembly manual as construction is the same. Do you have a G4 and something looks different than manual? or you just wanted to see the pictures?

Let me know.

Reza

flatlandmike -> RE: Updates to Assembly Manuals (7/14/2008 7:20:22 PM)

Im going to get a G4 if the current plans fall through and it doesnt look good for the current plans.

Im mainly interested in the canister tunnel on the g4 and a few other things like canopy instalation. I just want to make an informed decision.

My buddy Meanrudder is in my ear every night on the phone telling me to get a G4 mobster style lol he should be on the payroll.

Rezagh -> RE: Updates to Assembly Manuals (7/14/2008 7:40:39 PM)

LOL he is not[:D]

flatlandmike -> RE: Updates to Assembly Manuals (7/14/2008 11:40:17 PM)

Ok plans fell through and I told my lhs to order me a Gen IV; I hope its here before the weekend.
