Hey Guys,
How'd the bashing go?? Sorry I couldn't make it. Seems when you're engaged, you don't make your own schedule anymore (anyone have an idea of how long that lasts......)

Anyway, I'm still trying to get some bashing done for the weekend.... Break in an engine, run the Turmoil or the Revo around....

Where are the boat ramps exactly?????

Well,
Today was an ok day of "bashing". I decided to take the Revo and the Savage X out. The Revo has already been broken in, the Savage X is Brand New!! Went out and found a nice open parking lot with absolutely no cars and very little in the way of obstacles so that I can get my break-in completed. No one around to hinder me... just absolute bliss. Well, set everything up for the start and the Savage doesn't start up.. no problem, I'll let the glow plug get nice and warm and try again.

Tragedy!!!

The rotostart strips out!!! What the "(filth flarn filth)" is this...... I just got out here.. well, so be it..

Round 2: Time for the Revo... Starts without a hitch and showed that parking lot who was boss. 3 tanks later, idling nicely and running about 205 F on the temp meter.. she's good (don't know, that might be a little high.. may need to reset my needles..)

Anyway, sorry I couldn't catch up with you guys.. but we've got warm weather and time....

hey np. were meeting up again this weekend. sat i believe so stop on down. bashing was sweet. i busted 2 cars but they will be up and running by this weekend. i totalled the xb8 (i missed a jump) bent chassis, busted bulkhead, broken bumper, busted fuel tank, stripped the steering servo. took her home and banged the chassis straight with a hammer, took some super glue and glued the bulkhead back, got a fuel tank from a hyper 7 and zip tied it, replaced the steering servo and was back in action the next day.<-------------fun. so anyway come on down and have some fun.

Ok, Guys....

Looks like I'mma be outta town this weekend. My update is that the Savage is back up and running with a new spur gear (that hopefully won't strip).. I didn't get to put that 3 speed tranny on her though, as a matter of fact she's still in a number of pieces waiting to get put back together.

Spent most of the week trying to clean my cars.. you know "dirt hurts"..

Anyway.. Have fun and the word of the month is "Failsafe"

I didn't miss anything?!! Great.

Well the Savage is still currently in pieces, but hope to get it back together before the weekend.. Just thought that I would give it a little cleaning (...I know it was brand new, but..... )... I got a new toy though that I just think EVERYONE in RC should have, an air compressor.. this thing ROCKS!!!
I'll have my cleaning done in no time with it.. Also using the Simple Green/Denatured alcohol concoction which works well also, but no real need for it at the moment as nothing is too caked on.

Glad to hear that "Air Revo" is back in action... would be int
