Wasn't there a way to put on front shocks without the CRP towers?

^^^^That's what I was looking for... So those shocks are from a big rig...? What kind of results have you seen using them?

Errr, no. This pic doesn't show my Frog. This is only a example someone posted. No idea what shocks these are.

These are the shocks I want to fit without a shock tower:
Tamiya #56503 RC Tractor Truck Oil Shock

I took my Froggy out over to the local baseball infield with my daughter on saturday. I still haven't been able to get the transmission to stop skipping, but it was drivable on the loose clay with bald tires

. I can see the outdrive cups spreading when I hit the throttle, so I think that may be the problem...

I ran my Frog this weekend as well! Had a lot of fun! It is a lot faster than I expected (remembered).. I am sure using the LiPo helps too.. (slightly higher voltage) I only run the stock silvercan..

It is all dirty now.. need to clean it.. (it was raining the day before, so the dirt was still kind of wet) A lot of fun, though!!

Maybe go back to the beginning of the thread and check out the pics from the build...

The springs are inside a tube between the front 2 suspension mounts.. it is rocker actuated..

So that is 300 mph scale speed. Seems unrealistic.
