maybe 1/4 gallon. Pinch is fine so far but its just too slow for me. I run in a parking lot oval with some buds of mine and im just left behind running against 528x powered buggys and 1/8 rally game cars. My crt.5 dont even hit 35 it feels like but I am so used to mr high40sw trucks and 50s buggys lol

Devine13- I am just guna go with a local order I guess on the os. But that .21 is just crying at me

Thank you for the infos , i will get a 15 clutch bell and then see if i don't need more as you know the 18 TZ is a pure monster ,my RC10 GT had to be geared from 15 to 20 bell in order to not flip it over as soon as i nail the throttle .
Can't wait to see my CRT5 with the 18 TZ running ...

ive now changed the sirio 15 to a os 18tz , as the sirio had air leak isues , but only found out what it was when the motor was out ,( leak on the side of the carb .. now sorted ..done 5 tanks on the os and it wheelies with a 17t .. and a 1/2 a turn richer than base settings ..

I have allready one OS18TZ in my RC10GT and i had to back up a 1/4 turn on the HSN than the base setting as it was running too lean ,but that thing even with a very high gearing wheelies at the end of our straight on our track and if i insist a little more it goes airborn, with that engine my RC10GT is even faster on the straight than most of the 1/8 buggys out there.but when comes time to turn or brake you have to pray to be able to make it .
With what you tell me i guess that a 15 bell will not be enough to calm the beast on the track as my goal is to be able to keep up with the 1/8 buggys and still be able to outrun them in the turns i have made a bet with a friend that i could be in the top 5 on our next race in one month racing in the 1/8 class ...

Do you (or anyone ) know if it is possible to power the mini box from a 12 volts gel battery as i have a few of thoses and don't really want to get a 7.2 volts stick ? Of course i know how to modify it but would the swith and the motor live up to that voltage ?

That's a great news ! how does it performs ? does the motor or switch get's heat ? did you do any mod's before that ? do you have any pics of the thing ?many questions, i know, but as my box is new i just don't want to destroy it as the parts can only be found in US as here in Finland they don't import the Mini box ...

Hi
Are the CRT5 a contagious deasease ???
When my stepbrother saw mine at the track runnig ,he immediately ordered his own and now i am preparing it ready like mine ,and many other racers on our track have allready taken all the infos of where i bought it and how much did it cost ...
I really hope that soon we will have a small troup of thoses in our club to even prepare a club race with them .
Here are some pics of my 5 with his new OS18TZ and also one with the two CRT5 allmost ready to hit the track .there is also a pic of tskid plates that i home made out of stainless steel to give a little potection to the chassis , i have them also on mine and the really do the job.
