It just depends what you plan on doing. Are you going to race 1/12th scale or are you racing 1/8th scale. Either one will be good it is up to you to make the right decision.

Yes,SH still makes a 12 engine , here is a link for a online shop in Hong Kong ,but i haven't ever bought anything from them and the only time i was about to i got a OS18TZ from Tower's instead .Shipping price and a 20$ coupon made a nice difference in price and i am allready a Tower's customer so i trust them and know how serious they are .

I think i have solved my leaking tank pbs once and for all !
My stepbrother bought also a CRT5 and his tank was not leaking at all out of the box ,it seems that his CRT5 was a new serie as he had a owner manuel not photocopied but really printed and well made + his servos were not under Futaba but Hong nor brand .
As his tank did not have any leak pbs i had a close look at it and found out that the top of the filling hole (where the lid closes) had a slightly different angle and as my lid was only leaking from the front of the opening i just changed that angle by sanding with 400 grit sandpaper(on a very flat surface ) the opening and changing slightly that angle .
Now to get any air out by blowing the tank under water i have to allmost get my lungs out but before a slight blow would have made the tank leak .
I will test that soon and let all of you know if that is the "solution" instead of those disgracious rubber bands that some of you are using .

The Mugen starter box works great with just three
little mods.
1) The slot for the peg that fits into the L.F. arm has to be filed to the right
about 8mm. I only use the front pegs and they hold the .5 perfect.
2) I am running front and rear skid plates on my .5, so I needed raise
the starter wheel a little to get a good bite on the flywheel. I did this
by useing four 3mm spacers between the bottom of the box and the
mount for the starter box motors. Then I put four longer screws through
the botom of the box, though the spacers and into the mount.
3) I thought that the springs that hold the starter box lid up were too stiff.
So I replaced the springs with ones about half as strong.
