I thought the CRT.5 already came with Pro-Line Bow Ties... and yes, I believe either Buggy or Truck 2.2 tires will fit.

I have the kit with the engine. DO I need a metal o ring with the included glow plug? I am using hitec servos and the plastic gear piece that fits over the servo doesn't fit well. Any tips?

not sure what plug you have but turbo plugs dont use a washer. i had the same problem with mine, the
inserts dont fit. i used the red arms that came with the servos, i think they will hold up fine.

the .5 is designed to use 2.2 buggy tires, any should fit. im using proline and panthers.

Is that a SH .12?

Yes thats a SH12 turbo. I am amazed at the perfomance. As you can see it is freakin awesome. The engine is not yet runin.
This is the handbuilt SH 12. The engine idles constant and temps are very cool. I can play for 10min before refuelling.
The engine is also very cheap compared to the other so called high end mills.

Is this the one you have?

Excellent thanks... my CRT.5 is on it's way, so I'm off to purchase the SH12 now. For the price, the SH seems like you can't beat it.

The next step was the part I was looking forward to. The servo mounting.
I tried to follow all the CRT threads on servo mounting and found that everyone uses either one full sized and one mini servo.
Well I have 2 digital HT servos that is too weak to use in my 1/8th scale and I was planning to make it work in my CRT .5 .
I followed the instruction I found on Truggyraces and I must say that this is probably the easiest mod for full-sized servos.

Can you send me a link to the mod? I can' t see to locate it on truggyracers

I also noticed that the chassis has quite bit of flex in the centre. I also read about some guys putting in extra braces, I also compared the flex with the servo tray mounted. It has similar flex. I think this might be a problem later. I’ll look at resolving that.
So far so good. Have not started but I will keep you updated.
Hope the pics are clear.

Any further insight into solving the flexing issue? BTW my SH12 is on it's way...

Just buy the BCE chassis. Boom, no more flex.

this is going to be my next rc, and I want to use the .18 tz-tx from my revo, my first question is: does it come with a bump starter? and if not can I use a roto or pull starter? my second question is: will a revo pipe fit on it?, I have a trinity pipe, but if I have to I can use a different header, like the 4-tec's:

I have a 5V hump pack and a Spektrum RX. How did you fit both into the tray with the top closed? Where did you put the wiring?
