Looking good there Lu... how old is your daughter. Think about getting a second one myself. Have 2 sons and daughter.

Just got my SH 12 today. Ordered Thursday from Hobby People and got today, CA to GA at that. I'm impressed. Hope to get the kit on Monday.

Thanks jajbarton.... she's 11 and he's 7. You must have my SH .12 as I also ordered it on Thursday, but it's not here yet. Oh well... lol

I was just about to order a third one, but Tower raised their prices... Gonna hold off to see if it drops again.

After an hour in the LHS she finally decided on a color scheme for her lid and I'm gonna do some flames for the first time so wish me luck. Once painted I'll post results...

7,9,13 here... Just raced the Micro-Ts. 7 yr old smoked the other two by over a lap.

Actually, I think it did have someone's address crossed out... something about not paying your tab (just kiddin').

These look like alot of fun and i am in the market for something new to tinker with, just cant make up my mind if i would prefer a buggy or this little beast. I think the crt.5 is winning though, looks like a brilliant piece of kit.

Looks very fast.. however, I rather loose a little speed for better control. I wouldn't like it pulling wheelies on a track...

I highly recommend them and my LHS store can't keep them on the shelves. I like them so much that I sold 2 of my XXX-Ts in favor of the CRT.5. I have an MF2 that I absolutely love, however, the .5 is getting more action now. I used to split my time between my 8ight and XXX-T MF2 but now I'm fighting my son for his .5 instead of taking out the XXX-T. LOL...

As promised here are some pictures of my daughter's .5. It's my first attempt at flames and I did it with cans and a simple mask. It's by no means perfect so don't flame me... lol

It's been raining all day today, so I've been looking thru the various hop-up parts for the CRT.5. After cleaning up my work bench and looking at some spare parts, I found some CVD boots that fit perfectly onto the .5 front and rear CVDs.

They came from a Sportwerks Turmoil part number SWK9011

If the rain stops I'll see how they work out, but they fit perfectly. I'm assuming a small drop oof CA or similar glue should hold them firmly in place, but for now here's a picture:

Ok i have mentally picked my crt.5, os .12tz and a pair of HiTec HS5245MG servos, already have my futaba radio and will probably get another r603ff reciever. I turned down a shelf queen hyper 7 all in carbon and 7075, i know the crt.5 is the right thing for me though as i didn't feel bad at all turning the hyper down

I have an OS .18 TZ in mine and I'll tell ya its the best pipe combo I've ever had with a TZ Engine, I had an OS pipe that was great, the AD2 pipe also works pretty well, but for some reason the .18 TZ LOVES this pipe, low and High end, it really leaves nothing more to be desired(except a rear header!), now to me the question would be will the header fit in the rear with the stock pipe, that would be awesome.

I was going to purchase one of those engines until JerseyBoy convinced me on the SH .12. I found it for $85 so the price was tempting, but at $14 more the SH wasn't that far off in price. Since I couldn't find any reviews on the Jammin .12 on-line, his demo of the SH is what really sold me.
