Jerseyboy -> Official Thread for X1 CRT .5 Truggy (3/1/2007 6:59:36 AM)

I am so exited to get the new CRT .5. It looks awesome. The Pro-kits will be released first and thenthe RTR's. I believe the pricing will be very reasonable. Hope to get some more responses from guys who has one.

WVSPEED -> RE: Official Thread for X1 CRT .5 Truggy (3/1/2007 3:53:07 PM)

I'm buying one if I cant get a real truggy

itsnotskidding -> RE: Official Thread for X1 CRT .5 Truggy (3/1/2007 6:27:30 PM)

hongnor x1 crt and there buggy friends are not going to be able to beat the kyosho st price, not in the uk anyway.. i dont no about other countrys but jammin or hongnor as we know it is very exspensive and i would rather have bought somethi ng else for my money, i have a x1 crt and race and it is o.k and handles and does the job, but it sucks for ££££...

just my thought, dont shot me down please...[8|]

Whats not really about this?? I think this truggy looks good... I don't think I will be getting one (just got a new mini truggy).

MBX5T Maniac -> RE: Official Thread for X1 CRT .5 Truggy (3/2/2007 3:55:39 AM)

I believe he means real as in 1/8 scale

Thats what I thought, but they are all really Truggys. It's just one is bigger then the other.

MBX5T Maniac -> RE: Official Thread for X1 CRT .5 Truggy (3/2/2007 4:49:40 AM)

Not really. A truggy is based off a 1/8 buggy. It's like calling a Mini Inferno a real 4wd buggy. It's just a mini-version of the "real" thing. Just like the CRT .5, which is based off the CRT.

Rob6 -> RE: Official Thread for X1 CRT .5 Truggy (3/2/2007 5:19:26 AM)

Would be cool :) ill but it and woop everyone with it. It would be my CRT's son :p

Rob6 -> RE: Official Thread for X1 CRT .5 Truggy (3/2/2007 5:23:10 AM)

Also i see one problem with this.. No place to put the Transponder...

itsnotskidding -> RE: Official Thread for X1 CRT .5 Truggy (3/2/2007 10:13:57 AM)

good point^^^...[:D]

also i have to admit there is not much difference from the crt itself!!.... apart from the engine choice and servs, which if you bought the truggy in the 1st place you would upgrade...[8|]

birel19 -> RE: Official Thread for X1 CRT .5 Truggy (3/23/2007 8:23:16 PM)

Has anyone gotten one yet? I would like to see a rtr vid and pics up against another truck to compare sizes ect.[:D] Please post any pics up against other trucks you can so I can get an idea of the size[8D] How do you think the durability will be? What is the rtr price?

Is it closer to a 1/10 scale or a 1/14 scale?

Jerseyboy -> RE: Official Thread for X1 CRT .5 Truggy (3/26/2007 8:06:28 AM)

Here are some comparison pics.

Alright, Im going for it soon, just need to know if I can use a standard starter box. Also will these recievers fit in the box and radio systems work with it? Which radio would you get?
radio 1- http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-JR-XR2I-RADIO-AM-R125-RECEIVER-DIGITAL-LST2-LOSI_W0QQitemZ250099805688QQcategoryZ44028QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

radio 2- http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXDEL370&P=0

Radio 3- http://cgi.ebay.com/Associated-XP3-3-Channel-27mhz-AM-Radio-and-Receiver-AE_W0QQitemZ250098776512QQcategoryZ34063QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

steering servo- http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXDTB3&P=ML

It uses standard size servos right?

nbk -> RE: Official Thread for X1 CRT .5 Truggy (3/30/2007 5:47:31 PM)

get radio 1,
i really like jr's radios they have just enough adjustments and are easy to understand.

infanterene -> RE: Official Thread for X1 CRT .5 Truggy (4/4/2007 9:31:32 PM)

I bought and put mine together last night. I used an OS TG .12 I think it runs great. I am om off to the track, I will report when I get back.

MBX5T Maniac -> RE: Official Thread for X1 CRT .5 Truggy (4/4/2007 9:51:33 PM)

where did you get yours?

Rob6 -> RE: Official Thread for X1 CRT .5 Truggy (4/5/2007 1:01:16 AM)

Local Hobby shop? Mine has 5 of them! No ones buying them because the local track wont let them run! :(

MBX5T Maniac -> RE: Official Thread for X1 CRT .5 Truggy (4/5/2007 2:32:54 AM)

Hmm, I want to get one. Got a Novarossi MT12 I can stick in it, and I know it'll scream

infanterene -> RE: Official Thread for X1 CRT .5 Truggy (4/10/2007 4:57:12 AM)

I got mine at rchobbies.net they are in tamarac florida. So far its been awesome. This weekend we are going to race them with the 1/10 but in a separet class. I would have raced it last saturday but I burned out a steering servo. I HATE HITECH SERVOS!

MBX5T Maniac -> RE: Official Thread for X1 CRT .5 Truggy (4/10/2007 5:01:12 AM)

Send it to Hitech. They'll replace it for free in most cases

R_man_5k -> RE: Official Thread for X1 CRT .5 Truggy (4/17/2007 12:51:21 PM)

I am looking at getting this truck with in the next two months. What is the difference in the PRO truck? Does it come with many hop up or PRO parts? I am more intrested in it because I have a motor to drop in it and I have a few extra spektrum receivers and such... But just want to make sure I get the best deal.

infanterene -> RE: Official Thread for X1 CRT .5 Truggy (4/18/2007 3:51:08 PM)

I think they are all pro trucks right now. Mine didnt come with any hopups. I think the only hopup that is really necessary is stiffer chassis braces.
