rrritchy,
thanks for your quick responce on my last questions its alot clearer now but i have a few more questions right now i am setting my giant up and i have a JR xp7202 radio but i am going to purchase a 10x in the future so i am going to buy a jrpr2100 10 channel rx and install it in my giant my question is the two power lead from the power expander, the instructions say to use channel 1 and 10 for power input but the channel 1 for the jr reciever is throttle and the p.e. instuctions say not to use the battey supply port on the rx or the reciever will think its in "direct servo control " if i use channel 1 and 10 do i have to reconfigure all my switches and gimbles? or can i use say channels 9 and 10 for my redundant setup?
Thanks,
r.od@hotmail.com Robert

Hi Robert,
I am not sure why you would have to reconfigure all your switches and gimbles unless I am missing something here. The receiver power lead are ALSO servo channels. On a 7-channel radio you would want to plug one power/servo lead into throttle and the other into aux2. Then just plug in all the single lead servo channels starting next to throttle down the line in the same order they come out of the PowerExpander. Just leave any extra single lead servo channels unconnected. One a 10-channel radio you would plug the receiver power leads into throttle and aux5. Throttle will come out on the PowerExpander channel "A" if I remember right and then so on down the row of the receiver.
Please let me know if you have any other questions or I missed something.
