Hi!!

Sorry if this has been posted but I need some guidance. I was throttling up my Axe cp and one of the blade grips fell out of the main assembly. Luckily I noticed it right away and shut her down. I didn't lose the o rings or the washers. I managed to get it back together, but I am unsure how to tighten them so they don't come out again. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!!!

If you look at the parts drawings in the back of the book the blade grips are retained on that little shaft that goes through the head with a very small screw and washer. Do you still have them? If so one VERY VERY SMALL dab of red loctite will hold it in place.

From what i have read, they are actually supposed to be loc-tited in place. Very strange, I have only heard of people having a problem with taking them out. Maybe some loc-tite would do the trick? Anyone else have some suggestions? I have to take mine out this weekend and replace a grip.

Make sure you have two phillips head screw drivers that fit the slots perfectly not too big or small it was awkward to hold both drivers in place with the head wanting to turn too.

When you put the blade grips back on make sure you use some 2x6mm hex head screws and just a dab of blue Loctite on each screw. The red stuff can be really heck when it comes to taking things apart as it is a semipermanent thread lock.

I am going to have to replace the feathering spindle and screw. The screw on one end of the spindle broke off inside the feathering spindle. Good thing I ordered an extra which should be arriving tomorrow with the other spare parts I ordered. I just got the heli yesterday and this was the second time I throttled it up. I am thinking it got overtightened at the factory or something. I haven't flown it yet just taking it slow and using Radd's. I have contacted Heli-Max. I will definitely look into the hex- head screws and the blue loctite.

Thanks again!!!
