i think it would look ace with bigger (in diameter) wheels at the back, but it would mean trimming the rear arches a bit, it would raise the rear, while not looking odd, and would look mean as hell!

Good idea, but there are no drift tires in those 1/12 dimensions!

for a paint scheme, here's my thought...

find an on-road race car that you like. or maybe a rally car. then just paint that scheme onto the van. it would look kinda realistic b/c the scheme would match the car, but it would be completely original still b/c you put a lunchbox body on it.

just my 2 cents...

looks good so far...

Thanks for your thought, jd.

I already have a paint scheme, I even have the decals for it, but don't want to give it away right now.
The body is still weeks away. But your idea is spot-on!

Riddles riddles in the dark.... Haha.

Lunchboxer, did you have a chance to measure the body width for me? I know, I'm annoying!

Thanks a bunch!

That will be 157mm front and 151mm rear.

Chassis width with the new rims is about 156mm, which means:

Problem #2. solved!

That's weird, huh?! You figured the lexan body is made to the stock dimension...

But good luck! At least if it is off by a little bit, the lexan body is flexible.. you can push them out a little bit if you want!!
