Unfortunately not, the wheelbase of the body is only 205mm. And its too narrow.

Some of you wondered about the paint scheme.

Well, here's what I thought of. I always liked the Gulf racing cars, so I will go that way.
Some pics of what it's going to look like and the the stickers I bought for it:

I've been having so much fun with my Lunchbox lately, so I neglected this project a little.

But here's the progress:

A few days ago the body finally came in (after 5 weeks ) and I now have it cut out.
As you can see from the pics, despite excessive cutting on the wheel arches, the wheelbase of the chassis is still too long. I wll have to cut even more.
On the other hand, the problem with the width seems to be fixed.

Another problem occured:
There are no sideskirts on the lexan shell. I might have to fit the original sidepipes, so the chassis isn't as visible as it is now.

Pics:

i told you to get a mardave, it fits perfectly lol

LOL I told you I wanted 4WD! And a descent suspension. This chassis is as good as it gets for going brushless!

Update:

Finally!

I did the paint job a week ago and added some decals today. The only thing missing are some dark blue pin stripes around the orange parts, and the holes for the body posts.

I do not dare to drill this freshly done body, though! I really like how it turned out.
What do you guys think?

Thanks, LB!

Drilling it before would have been too easy!

Well, my first Lexan paintjob, so I didn't think about that...

Thanks guys, very pleased you all like it!

It hasn't moved an inch on it's own yet, but it's going to be more likely a shelfqueen than a runner.

Will keep you updated on this project.
