Well at least MCD is putting out a vehicle that looks different than the rest!! I think the fact that this truck actually resembles a trophy truck is awesome. this thing really looks mean.
as far as the FG thing, You dont have to put 4000.00 into the truck but you definatly have to do a fair amount of upgrading just to make the truck reliable.
I definatly dont see this mcd truck being any worse than an FG. I'm sure its probably much more reliable!

Is it the same as the asgard? It looks different to me, not by much though.

Are all of MCDs vehicles (MT, RR, Rally and now Baja) based off of the same chassis?
Are the only differences between the RR and Baja the body and wheels?

The Baja has a long travel front suspension according to Troy also.

I would venture to guess $250 for tires and rims $200 for longer travel front shock set up and $125 for body plus $25 for mounting accessories. $600 total.

Pretty much, also the body mount/s, and long travel front suspension (I think).

I'll be pricing up converting my RR soon, as I love the look of this truck. However the buggy style body will keep more crap out.

Isle,
Thats what I like about the RR and how its body is mounted nice and tight to the chassis, how it really seals up the interior from the elements.
This Baja is very appealing to eyes though

I would like to see an RR with the long travel conversion, that would be the ultimate Large Scale Buggy.

i think the only problem with the baja truck will be the exposed gears.other then thats its one hell of a machine.i just me got another FG yea puriest that right , for the sole purpose of pulling it around like a dog and breaking it into little peices .simply for fun. lol just kidding i got me the marder beetle ,i like the baja look to it and plan on outfitting it with baja lights that work .and sand paddles. bryan

When you get the LT for your RR post up some pics. I'm very curious to see it, especially in action. After seeing the video of the Baja 1000, I'm sure the RR is going to be insane with the Lt conversion.

I wish FG made some LT conversion kits w/some decent adjustable shocks and various shock mounting points, that would be pretty sweet.
