bryon261 -> trec esc install in axe. (3/1/2007 10:26:48 PM) installing the 240 gyro in my axe, went with the trec esc. pretty straight forward except for the 3 wire plug that connects to the reciever. In the heli max install instuctions it tells you to remove the middle wire(red) from the plug to disable the bec. this esc does not have a bec. this plug would normally plug into the gyro direct per instructions provided. do i plug this trec esc plug following the helimax instuctions ? if yes, do i remove the red wire from the plug?.... anyone

(3/1/2007 11:21:47 PM) Yes.. on the gyro there are 2 different wires connections .. a female and a male .. plug the female into the RX per instructions and plug the ESC ( Remove the red wire ) and into the Gyro Male plug ( If you dont remove the red wire you will be supplying 2 different power sources ) . then hook up your tail motor to the ESC and stand back
