Just curious if the Ultimate 40 size flies well and if it flies well with a .46 motor. Do the wheelpants get hung up in short grass?? Also when is the Lucky Star.25 due back in stock? Do you make any other trainers like the .15 size cessna in a .25 size. this is a nice looking model in blue but too bad it's not a little larger. Thanks for your time

Yes the Ultimate 40S is a fantastic plane.

Please see the other posts in this NP forum about it where I have gone into this plane in detail listing both it's plusses and minuses.

ultimate 40
ok so iam very impressed with the plane so far.
i have started looking over the plane and have found no problems!

step 1 throw the manual away!!! this is my first arf (if you can not assemble this plane without the manual you shouldnt be flying it!!!)
i have a busy schedule but will try to post pics and get this thing together this week.
in about 1 hour time i have inspected the plane mounted the upper wing mounts. (cabanes? interplane struts??)
i have also sorted through the hardware. oopps just found 1 of the strut screws has not been threaded
i have noticed that none of the hinge slots are cut. (bummer) oh well sounds like a good project for tomarrow
iam going to try to keep track of the hours it takes me to get this thing going. (probably faster than i can type everything)
i have also noticed that the firewall is not epoxied in! the rest of the plane looks like it has been built with CA. it even looks like the chinese know about baking soda!
the firewall and tank compartment have been coated with some sort of fuel proofing.

The firewall and most of the surfaces are joined with a white epoxy compond that is typically used in industrial fabrication.

If you are looking for epoxy, you will not see it.

That said, it never hurts to apply epoxy along the seems and re-inforcing.

You'll enjoy the plane, it's a great flyer and somewhat sturdy.
