Can you fly a T-Rex 450 with a 1320 mAh battery. I'm just setting one up and already have a couple of 1320s. If I can putz around with those for awhile before I go out and buy 2100s it would be nice.

It should be possible, in theory, but will depend greatly on your setup.

As long as the current draw from the motor does not exceed the 'C' rating of your battery, it will work...

Depends on what type of flying you are doing and your setup.
I am only doing slow forward flight and hovering with stock motor, pheonix ESC, hs56 servos on the collective, 9650 on the tail and a JR 410t gyro. 1320 get me around 8 minutes or so.I would imagine if I was flying more agressively the flights would be much shorter (but so would my nerves)

I just want to test the setup of my radio and linkages, maybe hovering and gentle forward flight. I'll wait until I have some 2100s before I go crazy with it.

I started with 1320's because I already had several of them used in other aircraft. They're ok for basic hovering and simple forward flight at lower headspeeds (2300-2400), but you'll abuse them it you try much more. When I got to the point where the packs where approaching 130F at the end of the flight because my flying was becoming more aggressive, I started purchasing 2100 packs.
