Wondering how folks have installed 2 strokes in this model. I am considering installing a OS.55.
This is my second plane. 1st died in a deep stall trying to show off. This plane flys great for a intro pattern.

A OS .55 will work fine, although you will not have the so called unlimited vertical. You will need to fly a little faster than preferd in pattern to accomadate vetical menuvers.

I run a Magnum 70 4 Strike and have the same performance that I think you will get with the 55. And I am comfortable with the performance.

Thanks Mike. I've got a OS 70 that is in an old pacific aeromodels edge I can probably pull out. I thought the os55 would be a good option but I was concerned about
the cowl surgery for the stock muffler.

running a stock muffler is going to require some hacking to get them to fit, I just mounted up a Super Tigre G2300(1.40)into a Exceleron 90 and had to do the same thing, or I would have had to buy a special header and pipe, to only keep the cuting down to a minimum. I went ahead and used the muffler, might not look as trick, but it will do the job and cost much less.
