I bought this same exact airpane from RaidenTech for an extremely low price. I planned on doing the glow fuel version with an O.S 0.26 four-stroke I had laying around. I got the plane promptly and started assembly being quite happy with it. Except it did not come with the conversion engine mount shown with their advertising and also in the construction manual. No big deal. I cut down the electric mount and did some wood working magic to make my own. BUT, that was about the time several club members pointed out to me that the tail feathers were badly warped. I guess I should have checked them compared to the wings when I glued them in. Anyway, the rear of the plane appears to be significantly warped since there was no slop in the slots for the stabilizers and trhe vertical is perpendicular to the horizontal. So, now I have something that will never fly well without major surgery. And, I have tried repeatedly to get through to customer support since discovering the missing engine mount with NO success. I'm not very happy to say the least.

Quite a few comments but nothing about using a nitro engine like a 25 or 32....Has anyone put a fuel engine in this plane or are they all electric. I have bought one and intend on putting a OS32 in it and would like some comments about the plane.

For everyone who bought this plane....did you get the engine mount for the glow engine???? mine was missing the one for glow. Talked to Nitro Planes today and they are sending me one.

If anyone has a spare and would like to get rid of it,,,let me know. or at least let me know the measurement of the glow mount and I will convert my electric mount to fit.

Ken

A standard .20 - .46 Dubro mount will work fine.

You can even use a anti-vibration mount which are really nice, but require more work to install. I'd recommend doing the latter as it really saves wear on your plane.

BTW: Top Flite Clear Coat spray over the covering ( not clear plastic parts though ) is your friend!!!

Anyone put a Saito 30 in one of these? I just picked up one of these and will be using the Saito 30. I was missing the nitro mount, but a call to NitroPlanes and a few days later it showed up.

This is my first build, hopefully the maiden goes well.
