Even though my dad stopped producing Cosmic Wind Minnows in the late 70's or early 80's, I'm getting the molds and wing templates from him. For those that don't know, the Stegall Minnow and the Prather Toni were the dominant F1 planes in the mid 70's. At the NMPRA championship in 1975, A Stegall Minnow flown by Jim Maki won 1st place. In the top 20, there were 4 Stegall Minnows and 10 Prather Toni's. They are easily identifiable by the landing gear. If the gear is on the fuselage, it is a Stegall. If the gear is in the wing, it is a Prather. Another easy way to identify them is that the Prather cheek cowls go all the way to the spinner, and the Stegall's are back about 1/2 inch. Let me know if I can snag your photos that have been posted, and feel free to email me photos of any class of racers to be posted on PylonWorld. Let some of the retirees know that I'm looking for photos, also.
