half blind -> duct fan fuel (3/3/2007 5:50:21 AM)

[8| Hello, am looking to buy a duct fan jet, from a fellow flyer, he has had it for a couple years and not flown it. It has a OS 90 df engine for power . My # 1 question is I dont know what % NITRO fuel to use ?. My # 1 promblem is, no one in town sells fuel for DFs. Would any one, know or is it possilble to mix castrol oil with 15% power master... I was told at the hobbie shop thats all I would have to do, But no one knows what "part" to "what", is there a chart. Any information is appreciated .

You are not far from two fuel suppliers, Ritchs Brew and Power Master. I would get their phone number off their web pages and call them. I bet they can mix up what you want in a jiffy.

Cheers,

Chip

POWERMASTER has a 10% nitro and 5% nitro Ducted Fan Fuel. Call Bucky at R/C Hobby in Sugarland or Kool Karz in Katy and ask them to order it for you. You can e-mail me at laura@powermasterfuels.com for a list of all fuels and oil/nitro content of each.
