Jimi,

I'm Not Upset with you,

Sorry, i CNT TYPE WiTh AlL tHiS dEcK SeAl ON mY fINgErZ ...

Like i Said, I Checked it, And its fine. Maybe it was the 2 hour flight in 80 temps, that killed the glue
I'll call quantas and ask them about it ....

P.S, Did you use any type of remover chemical when you pulled
out the original seal to remove the old glue ?

John (curly),

It's been over 2 years since you posted any video footage of you RC Surfing, with a quiver of 100 boards and just as many dudes, you must have something to post for us to see?

Guys, take your girlfriends out to dinner or to the movies, buy some damn flowers or whatever they want and collect those brownie points and use them to get her to go to the beach with you and film you surfing.

WE NEED MORE VIDEOS!

John (Maui), I can't remember the last time I saw the ocean as clean as what it is in your vids, almost a month of non stop onshore winds is seriously doing my head in!

Goggs, Get someone to film you at that spot you surf, it looks like such a great wave and some footage would be appreciated by all I am sure!

For those who do not have someone to film them, build a helmet cam, while it is not as good as having someone film you, it's still damn good to get that awesome wave on video even if it is not a close up shot! If anyone wants help building one, just ask.

There are a few non-modified surfer vids popping up on YouTube, but seriously they are painful to watch. I would have posted another vid last week, but conditions here are so bad it is not worth getting out of bed for. There must be someone out there who has a cam, a loyal girl and is not experiencing onshore crap every damn day.

Seb

Ya Seb, It Has Been A While...

And Curly Is Fine Without John Attached. Its A Cool Nickname You Gave Me
And Reminds Me Of The THREE STOOGES !

Unfortunatley For me, I Dont Have Much time to Rc Surf.
And When I Do, It's an escape Attempt, sort of.
Here In So Cali, It's hard to find a Decent break without masses of people
in the water, on the sand Etc. We Bring A customized Beach Wagon with 4 surfers on it,
and a box full of batts to run. We Get Bombarded With Questions As Soon As we park.

Imagine How Many Times People Ask You About What, Where And How Much.
Then Multiply it for me The Moment they see our Rig Being Set Up...

My Favorite Sessions have been near sunset or dawn patrol, empty tunnels,
no crowds on the sand, and just me and the surfer hitting it.

Running a RC Surfer Is A Blast, Running A RC Surfer Company
Takes A Lot Of Time, But This Hobby Sport Needs Product Support
Which was My Intention from Day 1, Since I Wasn't Able To Find Any When I Started RC Surfing...

Distance dosen't stop a hardcore from surfing, just slows them down ...

Ya, I sacraficed by moving from my beach front home, to spend more time to sea my daughter
since the divorce court didn't like the fact I lived a long distance from her.

Hmm, Family Matters or surfing more ?

I Proved Family Mattered more, wanna blame me for that too ???

Maui John

Jimi had an issue with six feet of deck seal he received and was not satisfied with.
His purchase was immediately refunded. I guess that would upset anyone ???

Seb, has never purchased anything from me ...

If you guys want to turn this into an abuse thread then I will shut it down.

Please look back a few pages at the videos and ideas you all have contributed and shared.

This thread/forum is set up to share the love for the hobby - not anger and abuse.

If you have a problem with someone - please take it off the forum.

Crew,
The other night  I attempted to remove all  my posts and pics.
Justaddwata intervened and would not allow me to continue.

I just wanted all my posts removed forever so I could remove all my referrences to *********.

Well that aint allowed to happen, so I guess I've had my say.
Sea ya

I dunno how the Thruster will go???
Should work you would think.

I am still experimenting with fitting the perspex lid on the NQD.
I really need to do something about lowering the battery a little bit.

All good.

Goggz,
What's with the fire bro???
Reminds me of Hendrix sacrificing a Strat!!!

John @ *********
No, I actually think that it is great that you sacrificed your daughter. (You know what I mean)
I never actually blamed you for anything.
Except the nasty responce I got, just for trying to help you???

Justaddwata,
Thanks for tolerating all my pathetic rambling on here, it is a lot of fun after all.
I don't think you will need to shut down the blog.
I promise to be a good boy from now on.
What part of W. A. did you live?

Seb,
You are absolutely right about the lack of quality videos on the topic.
There are very few good ones that actually show what is achievable.
Your vids are great and your modifications of the NQD are unparralleled.
There are a lot of crappy vids for sure, including one really bad one by some guy I don't even care to mention.
They definately don't encourage growth of the hobby!!!
I would be more embarrased to post videos like that than I am of the garbage I written on here.

Maui Crew,
Your videos are the best and your machines are incredible.
