15, I have a T-Maxx and an Rc10gt, very fun hobby, and I think it's worth the money (although it's hard to raise by yourself, but I get $60 for all A's on my report card so that's how I make my $$ if you were wonderin')

im 27 and have a 3 year old son.. we have alot of fun .. my lil buddy revofreak has posted here is one of my bash pals.. and ive been slowly teaching him the ins and outs of all this..

my 3 year old has a micro T and he has yet to break a single part.. i started him when he was about a year and a half all in all ive been doin this for a while.. my first EVER rc was a first run original clodbuster i got when they came out "at least thats what the guy at the hobby shop told me " which was about 1986 and have been going strong ever since lol

currently i have

Evader ST EP

Kyosho MK1 "first run" honda nsr500 brushless

Wheely King with KC Racing upgraded motor

Venom Mini Giant with a mamba brushless

1989 Cox GTP converted electric and working on alum chassis and such for it

Original "stamped 1984" Tamiya The Grasshopper Saturn 540 upgrade "everything else is bone stock"

ABC Hobby Indy Mini Racer totally stock

all in all i love this hobby.. i have flown as well but recently moved so no aircraft anymore ..

i can honestly say this is a great hobby and had it not been for this hobby i may have gotten into alot more trouble as a kid Hence me getting my son involved at such a young age

lil winded but hey.. im gettin older lol.. i tend to talk more ever year!!

51 here
Got my first nitro engine in 1965. The Cox PT 19 trainer line control plane with a .049 engine - I cannot believe Cox still makes it, but they do.
I guess I'm still a kid at heart...my avatar is a pic of me from last summer.

I'm old enough to remember my first engine, a GHQ. Came with a flywheel, and a large aluminum unbalanced prop. Could never get the engine started. Flew u control for a number of years until I built my first RC plane. A converted FF powered by a Foster .29 I think.Rudder only with a windup escapement powered by a rubber band. Today I fly 1/4 scale. What we have today was only something to dream about.

Im 15 nd so is my twin bro. Yes we are identical. Yea I've been in the hobby since i was 11 or 12.. cant remember... well i got 3 cars now only starting with a streetcar. My bro has 3 also. I Own a thundertiger t4 somethi..(cant remember what) a revo with a O.S. 18tz nd almost 800 into it. then i have an rc18mt with a spy esc nd 1400 pack. <-Its real fun chasing my cats . My bro has a savage 2.5 with a sts 30 nd a LOT of other stuff. then he has a mini lst in need of new diffs. nd a tamiya terra crusher. Its a lot of fun around my block since theres about 12 trucks in a 2 block radius.(mostly more savages.. lol im the outcast racer.. ) Its a lot of fun when everybody's out at once tho. I think the most we've had out on the street at one time is 7( not enugh drivers for all the cars.) I'm just glad i have a job now so i can actually pay for it all. i waited a year just to pay for my revo wich is what i sink the most into.
