At what temp should the Rascal run at? because mine does not seem to run well unless it is around 300! Only having a single gear makes the rpm's run to high i believe. Would the 2 speed conversion kit help it run cooler, faster,and overall better?

On the .21 head temp should be around 270 , i am not sure on the rascal

You may have an air leak. You should be able to get great power from 230-260 degrees. Check your fuel tubing and the fuel tank for leaks.

I have no air leaks all is good with lines. Rascal is so hard to control in the dirt is there any thing other than downsizing the engine for more control on dirt. No fun running at 1/4 - 1/2 throttel!!!!!!
