I'm pretty sure it can, but I just want to make sure I am reading this right...

The Futaba S3010 servo has a disclamer stating:

This servo can produce high-current draw from your batteries. If using NiMH or LiPo batteries, make sure they are capable of delivering approximately 2A for each servo.


And it would appear that my 6v NiMH reciever pack is perhaps 2-3 amp high drain capable according to what's written on the cells, so it should be able to power this servo, my reciever, and my stock steering servo, right?



Also as a small side question, just if someone happens to know. I've searched, but I cant find the thread after I first saw it. It was info on how to mod your reciever/battery/servo/something so that the servos got the full 6v instead of only 4.8v... I guess I'd really need to test and see if my reciever is only putting out 4.8v in the first place...

Status: offline 		I would not worry about the current drain, as I am also using the exact same batteries, and have no problems whatsoever.
The IB cells are capable of a very good discharge rate, you can easily get them to discharge 10A if you want. Do a search on the batteries for the discharge curve, for your own peace of mind.
