Just saw this on another site.

http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=653477

I grabbed one of the pics from that site, but can't find anything on it through Fliton. What do you think? Looks pretty interesting. Not for 3D, just precision pattern.

Hi Guys,
I did get excited when I saw this as at the moment I am flying a TM models POWER 90 which happens to look excactly like a big Fliton Element, I love my power, I'm not a three D flyer typically and have set my power up with a Saito125a and spin an Apc16x8 at the moment and this is a really nice pattern combo, not too fast and very quiet, The hardware like horns and pushrods is exceptional too, ballraced horns with ball joints on the servo end of the pushrod, all great stuff.
I'm going to keep my eyes open for an Australian supply of this smaller one as it looks brilliant Interestingly the one peice wing version is the big one?
I have tried acouple times to pload a picture of the power for you guysto see but it keeps cominmg up as an error, heres a link to look at it for those who want to see for themselves, the link is from the distributor that I use for my business so there are no prices on his site just pictures.

The links are live now at Fliton.com

I really like how they did the bottom. It's classic Fliton flair done with taste.

I cant wait to get one. I want to fly pattern next year with an electric....this might be just the ticket.
Ive been holding off until I could find a good plane to run electric.
The current offerings just were way out of my price range.

Anyone know what would be the recommended electric set-up for this bird?

Edit....nevermind...read the fliton site. Sweet.

Check out the way they made the clip for the wing attachments.

Im assuming that it will have a tube spar...YIPPEEE
Also, I like the airfoiled horizontal stab.

Hoping this is the one.

Neat, I didn't even notice that before.

As for the power system, it'll be like the AJ Extra. Basically anything in the 400-600 watts range will power it sufficiently. The plane will come in around 3 lbs or so. I've got a 4S 2200 setup in my AJX and it's BALLISTIC!

Im soooooo happy they didnt cover it in that transparent covering. Thats what held me off from buying a Inspire.

Oh, dont get me wrong...I like the inspire 90, but its WAY out of what I could afford to put together.
I need to start a little smaller than that....the Element looks to be just about right.

The clip on wings worry me a little, but since this bird doesn't have huge control surfaces it should hold. I'm sure they put it through at least one test flight.

The clip on wings actually have been in use with the Inspire 60, as well as the AJ Extra 330S. So far, there have been NO reports of failure yet. So I feel pretty secure using them. Early May is probably a bit optimistic, but Mid-Late May is a more realistic deal as long as it doesn't get held up at the customs.

Anyone going to Toledo? It might be there at least as a promo material

I saw it a little while ago and now I have been wondering if I should get the vanquish F3A or this one... Both look very pretty but I might even like Vanquish better, I will choose after hearing some flight reports
