I must be the only one using an Evolution 45 thus far? Very nice airplane. Its my first large 3-D machine. Started with the greatest airplane. I hope any others wont be a let down. Other than QQ's aircraft, I also would like a bunny plane. How is everyone elses coming along?

Hi octanehuffer,

Your model looks great..

They have really lightened the engine box out to the extreme. Hope it's strong enough..

Have you flown the model yet?

Cheers
Jason.

Have not flown it yet, still need electronics and a couple of finishing touches. Someone else will beat me to it.

EMVIN,

I have one of those CF Spinners and they are very high quality. Only problem is that they are out-of-stock right now. I just tried to purchase one for my brother and both the Fiberglass and CF are out-of-stock.

P-man.

The 45 will make all that power with the 58 cannister. The 58 cannister measures 2 3/8". Much too wide for our 2" tunnel. I wanted to do the same, but may have to run the 45 cannister ot the MTW. BTW an adapter plate will have to be made for the lower engine mounts. The bolt holes will be right at the lower engine box. If it wasnt for the adapter plate we could mount the engine without standoffs. I will be running 10mm.

I started on mine....well before I thought I would. With rain in the forecast I decided to get some things done: All covering is tight, all surfaces hinged, landing gear installed, DA-50 cutouts done.

I think I can have this thing built by this weekend.

P-man.

Mine should be here tomorrow!

I've got the bench clean and I'm anxious to start. I hope to have it done in 1 week. From what several had said it's a pretty quick build. Since I'm going with a mostly broken in engine, I could be wringing this baby out in a week.

I can't wait.

thanks
BArry
