If you are getting that .18 I would highly suggest you get RRP steel transmission gears. It just makes life easier. Just remember to clean out your transmission after every gallon of fuel and you are golden.

Well, of course u are going to need to cut that shaft, then find a crutch nut, flywheel, clutch shoes, etc...

Usually when people get a Nitro car in a trade or by it from someone else you end up getting their problems. Especially when u are new to it(as goes for anything, old cars, houses, other hobbies), Although there will be people who will say "But ICrashThings! I got mine in a trade from someone and NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH IT!" which happens, but not all the time. Usually if you are new to it, by it new so YOU can play with it first and not get sloppy seconds. But if I were you, I would read up on the GT's manual(if u even got one) and take it apart. This way you learn how it works, and where the pieces go. Just clean everything, might need to refill the shock lube, grease the transmission,...etc...

But back on topic. OS engines are great. I never had a problem with mine and they come dialed from the box. All you need to do is break the engine in with the companies break in proceders and u will be good.

Well I posted the links:

And all u need to cut the shaft is a dremel tool with a spinning disc cutter. Its simple actually, put the engine in a sandwich bag and poke through it with the shaft. This way none of the metal shavings get into/on your engine. When you cut it, cut the shaft all the way down until u have about rouchly 4 threads on it. Ifs its too much then cut another off, u want the clutch nut to be on it and right against the fly wheel. To make sure it stays on, you can try to use lock tite on it...a lot of people might disagree with this, but its your choice.

the only thing that is not available is the Clutch nut.

spring on the throttle but on the brake don't. use fuel tube there. its more consistent and heavy feeling.
