Hi Robert,

I have successfully installed a Power Expander, SuperReg, Ignition Regulator and Ignition Cutoff in my SD Models 30% Yak. All worked perfectly on initial turn on.
Question: Do I disconnect the LED bulb or wire connector to the bulb housing in order to mount the bulb outside the fuselage? A 1/4" hole is too small to pass the receiver end connector through isn't it?
After getting everything installed and working perfectly I feel a little silly being stumped by this, but having an outboard LED showing ignition status is too good of an item to leave undone.

As always thanks Robert for these great products.

Best,

Dave

EDIT: Oops, I just noticed the post further down on this subject...........

Hi Dave,
The best way to do this is to CAREFULLY take the pins out of the plastic housing. Its really easy BUT do not over bend the plastic flap that holds the pin in. Lift it up just enough to let the pin slide out.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks Robert,

I decided to lengthen the extension to the bulb a bit , so I did what I should have done when I cut the LED wires the first time: fish the wires through the fuse and THEN solder it! (duh). Thanks for your reply though.

Best,

Dave

Hi Dave,
Just so you know in the future, you can lengthen the LED wires by just plugging in a standard servo extension, no soldering.
