ORIGINAL: XJet Yep, I know about the Seeker 6 problems all of mine eventually had to go back for repair/replacement due to short-range and glitching. To their credit, Polk fixed or replaced them and covered the cost of shipping back to me (in NZ) and they're still working fine to this day. I would say that there was almost certainly a bad batch and it's a shame that (just like most RC manufacturers) they chose not to issue a recall or at least advise customers that it might be a problem. I think an *honest* RC company would get a *lot* of business in these days when all the manufacturers operate on a "deny everything" basis and frequently resort to deleting posts from their support forums that report problems for which there is no answer. Perhaps the best "open and honest" support right now comes from Assan. At least they acknowledge issues and work hard to fix them (no, I don't have an Assan system and aren't on their payroll :-) XJet You are so correct in what you said, With models becoming larger and faster and also more expensive the companies that make the control systems for our models need to raise the bar on quailty and cust service. They need to consider that they are not just makeing the control systems for little park flyers but planes that can be much more dangerous. Its sad to say but it will proberly take a serious incident to cause some legislation that will start to regulate the systems that we install in our models.
