Thanks again Ted. I've had this thing for a month or so, I fly the G3.5 sim alot more than the real thing. Great training aid. I mostly hover around the yard and scare the dogs. I have a Blade CX2, I can fly that extremely well, scaring dogs, plus the horses in my pastures!! That's what got me to move up to the Axe CP. Mike

I've installed most of the MicroHeli (uH) stuff on my AXE CP, and after 2 weeks of (every-other day) crashing & bashing, I give the uH products a "THUMBS UP!" Price is reasonable, in comparasion to Helimax &/or other aluminum goodies for other brands of e-heli's. Parts are of high quality, bearings are included & installed (where applicable), fit & finish are very good, which was suprising speaking the parts are made & come from Vietnam. Being in the CNC machine business for over 20 yrs, I've seen some real crap come from foriegn CNC vendors, but this stuff impressed me. I'd still shy away from CNC blade-grips, although they look real pretty, the plastic OEM ones are "cheap-protection" from some expensive damage bills after a crash with aluminum blade-grips, and you can always add metal ball ends to OEM grips, after you've snapped-off the plastic ball end, that gives you a "multiple life blade grip."

Rick,
I'm glad you found the micro heli parts to be high quality. I had them listed on my CNC parts listing I sent out to folks a while back. They're anywhere from 10 to 30 bucks less than the Heli-Max parts. I'm glad it worked out for you and I hope others find the alternative Heli-Max parts I listed to be good quality.
Ted

I agree with Mike and Rick.
I've had the uHeli CNC blade grips and swash (both silver), but have yet to put them on the "replacement" AXE.
I did break a training gear last night trying to fly FORWARD! I think I'm going to take the training gear off, and see how things go...my PlastiBlades are also getting quite the scuffing. But no broken OEM parts yet. I may have to do the knitting needle replacement soon though...

I'm not sure if they're exactly the same. I had bought some of the foam rubber T-Rex skid sleeves for my Axe awhile ago and they fit pretty good but are slightly loose. I assume they fit on the Rex skids tightly. (I'll know tonight as UPS will be delivering my T-Rex. Woohoo!)

I have aluminum blade grips on my AXE CP. I am new to flying so obviously I have a lot more experience in the maintenence and repairs then I do actually flying. I discovered that one of the bearings in the alum grip is bad and hinders the changing of the pitch blah blah.. ANyway, is there a way to take the bearings from a plastic grip and place into these. Also, what is the best way to get the bearings into this, I got the bearing out somehow, but it is way to hard to get back in. Any suggestions?
