don - I really like that covering scheme on your Aeron - simple yet eligant. What's all that white stuff around it? I have some buddies working in Cinny right now that tell me that you guys are really getting your share of the snow. Gee - Sorry that I am missing it!
I glued the wing in on my new Aeron last night. The fuse is already covered. I'll start on the wing tonight - I hope! I'm going simple this time.

Pinhead - I hope to have it ready for the March 15/16th Fly-In, that assumes that I can work it out to be there. Frankly - I think its pretty ugly (but right now - I don't care!). I am trying to get some covering done in between all the other things that I have to get done. I need to start packing the trailer for the Perry, GA show this weekend too. I am taking allot of my personal stuff too to sell. (i.e. 1/3 Laser 200, MVVS 77 with header & pipe, G62, 40-size bipe, etc. etc.)
Too much to do - too little time
You going to Perry - Pinhead?

Wells here's something you don't see every day It sure makes it easy to tell the top from the bottom, and the pearl white monocoat is actually pretty cool.

Nice looking Gee Billy. I like the Pro Bro on the bottom. Is that the shelve paper you famous for using or monkote? How did you get the shadowing effect. JT

rsands - that pearle white looks great.

jt
i printed my letters on to thick card stock and cut them out. laid each letter on the film and traced with an erasable marker and cut with scissors. i did pearl white and black. the shadow is just the black letter underneath. then applied with the windex method,

Kevin,
Thanks for the kind words. I'm more of a builder/ flier.

I'll leave the beautiful designs to the artist and admire their works of art!

Planebender - I would imagine that when you guys fly at the same time, the duplicate covering schemes propose another challange for you guys!

Here is a couple of pics of my new Aeron 40. I know, I'm a hack But I was running out of ideas (RickC - look at it as a compliment! )

Dude; If I saw that plane for sale I would buy it. I can always get more money, but a plane that nice only comes around once in a long while. BENDER

Plane Bender - If we didn't live so far apart, we can come to terms and you too to have one just like it!

Pinhead - My daughter thinks the design looks more like a Pheonix as opposed to flames, though that was not my intent originally .
Regarding the changes to this Aeron - I lengthen the tail moment by 2 inches, I installed a CF rod through the length of the fuse so I could go with allot of contest grade wood. I changed the horizontal stab size by adding counterbalances to the elevators. I felt that I needed to do this because of the lengthen fuse tail moment.
I have yet to cut the covering for the hatches, and install them. I hope to do that tonight. I will then start to rig it out. I will be installing the custom CF LG that I had proto typed for it on this one. I've got to start stripping my old one tonight too, to install it in this one.

Awesome looking Aeron Kevin. Wanna sell it to me ?

Jerry, I like the checkered bottom on that Aeroworks. Did you remove the whole covering and recovered ?
