I'm going to Mooresville, NC that weekend. I'll call Jeff on his cell phone provided that we have service in our respective areas.
Billy was talking about getting together possibly in Nashville this summer. Maybe we can meet there.
I have family in Knoxville, TN. Maybe we can meet somewhere close to there too. You never know.

Gator - I can't hover straight without the rag in my back right pocket! The rag makes me lean slightly to the right and back - Ought - Ooh! I just gave away the secret! Don't tell anybody!

Someone asked how the covering was done. It is all Ultracote over Ultracote, ironed on. I drew the paint splatters out on cardboard and then cut the Ultracote red with it. I roned on right over the yellow on med. heat and then come back with high. Very few air bubbles. White highlights on red spatters is small pieces of white iron on. Tedious but I'm happy with the outcome. bottom is al red with some large type "EDGE P'

Here's my newest one. Not flown yet. Hope to get out this weekend....

OS .70 Surpass, Hitec 225MGs all around, HS 81 on throttle. 5 cell AAA 700maH pack. Don't have a scale to weigh it, but it sure feels light!

I had to cut out and eyeball all of these polka dots. Pretty good for free hand with the scissors, eh? Ok, just kidding. I used some of my wife's scrapbooking templates. It was a snap. Took under 45 minutes to cut out over 80 of those damn dots.

Coming from the master, I take that as a great compliment! Never thought about Captain America, but you're right. The finished job was nowhere near what I thought I'd do when I started. I was going to do a red/white/blue scheme with the same pattern as the Edge on the OMP website. Found out I didn't have as much white as I thought. When you run low on a certain color of covering material, you have to get creative.

I feel your pain...I dont remeber how long it took to do this one, but the dots are all different size and shape, plus they had tiny slevers of white layed ontop of each drop to make it have a 3D look...G

This is mine, decorated with sticky-back decals that I made. I think I'm going to start a new thread on some of the experiences that I had, and am still having, trying to get this stuff done.
