Its in work. Building the stuff is the easy part, doing the photographs, write ups and html layout is the chore. Shouldnt be more than another few days till its submitted then whenever they publish it.

Its a mis print. I used a template and that got by me. The stock titan weighs 7lbs 12oz zfw The upgraded with metal head titan weighs 8lbs 2 oz.

No bricks hiding anywhere.

BH,

I was wondering what position (or distance from the center) you placed the ball links on the elevator push/pull attached to the main frame. And also the distance between the center of the servo the ball links on the control horn. Or should I really just be concerned about how much the blades are pitching? I'd like to get the same manuvability as I've seen in your videos.

Thanks,

Will

What is the difference between a Raptor 50 Titan and SE? If you get the Titan can it be upgraded to an SE? I have a Raptor 30 V1 and can do forward flight, nose in, circles, figure 8, but have not gotten to the auto/3D phase yet, except on the simulator. Recommendations? Titan? SE?

The SE is an upgraded V2, the Titan is a v2.5 lol but with most of the v2 parts.

I'd get a Titan and when you're ready get a metal headblock and washout base.

Eitherway order PV0499 and replace the stock tail hub on whatever you buy.

http://www.acehobby.com has lots of info on what comes with each kit.

Thanks. Are there larger fuel tanks for Raptor 30? I have an O.S. 32 which runs well but on a warm day, I will get 10 minutes of flying and on a cool day, maybe 12 or 13 minutes. After 8 minutes or so I will stop flying around and practice hovering in fear of running out of fuel. I would really like 15 minutes of fuel with say three minutes reserve. Do they make larger tanks?

To all on the forum: Have made the decision to by a Raptor 50 from Helieproz.

Does anyone know the difference between the Titan package and the SE model?

Reason for the this query is their on-page description is not too clear. At least it seems that way to me.

Looks as if its a muffler and metal head, lighter weight fly bars.

Go for the more upgraded version? Or upgrade as needed.

Thanks to all for putting up with the noobie level questions

Gary

The Titan comes with a muffler. The SE is a metal blinged out V2 with a fake carbon windshield, different stickers and some metal parts. Its got the standard V2 boom and belt (shorter than a Titan)

Personally I'd get the Titan then get a metal head block and washout base when the stock parts get sloppy.

Also when you order your kit get part number PV0499 its a one piece machined tail hub, replace the stock hub when you build the kit. Its about 6 bucks and IMO should be included as standard.

I may be wrong on this but I heard there is now a Titan SE that has modified geometry in the head parts.

Does anyone have any details of what exactly is different or reports of test flights.

The Raptor was sold in Japan under the "Taya Engineering" brand (the original designer) but there may have been a falling out and Taya no longer produces the latest versions.

I'm not familiar (yet) with the exact differences but there's improved pitch range and more options for tuning the bell hiller settings.

http://www.acehobby.com should have some specs.

ask.

I saw at R50T SE, the blade holder support link at the blade leading edge, the old titan at the trealing edge,
for get positif pitch for the SE ,is the swashplate 'll be move down ,is it right?
SE can get + 15 - 15 pitch,is the frame hole on the pitch control wider than old titan?
or is the mixing arm diferent ratio then the old titan?
how to upgrade old titan to 15 pitch?.
pls advise.
