I really like the heavy duty hinges you supply with the ARF. So much so, that I'd like to use them on another plane I'm building. Is there any way I can buy them from you or your supplier?
thanks,
Z

Hi Z,

Unfortunately no. We have a limited number that we keep for spare parts. We don't sell them and we can't direct you to our supplier either. Sorry!

Regards,
Reza

No; I just found the site the other day. It looks like they carry a full line of items for building. I'm going to try them out on my next build. I checked out Quiques page. The vidios are geat.

Good luck----impalas

You can get the hinges from Dubro. Just get the heavy duty 1/4 scale hinges. Same thing, nylon hinge with removable cotter pin.

I've got Dubro's, but the ones that come with QQ's planes are more robust, and have more glue contact surface.

Actually, they may have a little play in them!! Mine do anyways. It seams like the pin is not thick enough and if you pull on them they will move back and fourth. I just finished my 85'' and all the surfaces have a little play when I pull on them!! Not real impressive If you ask me!!!
I noticed the play before I hinged but it was very small. After hinging the movement is a lot more noticable!!
