Hi,

Which one is the better chassis for drift out of the box? Intention is to get either one and change to a one-way for the front and universals all-round.

Tks

We Test Drove Both and Chose the Sprint 2 as Tamiya parts in Aus were harder to get but the TA-04 S was very nice to drift.. Well balanced and all..

We= My Drift Team..

(used a Calsonic R34 TA-04S)

Tamiya parts may be harder to get where you are AUSO but you shouldnt generalize about the rest of AUS

In WA here Tamiya parts arent hard to get at all. Most parts are readily available from the 3 main stores not to mention that the smaller ones have Tamiya more readily than other brands too

I've hopped up most of my TT01 with parts bought at a LHS

havent driven a sprint 2 but like my TA-04s. Still not quite used to the switchback but with a little throttle manipulation and a locked rear you're pretty much good to go.

I say go with the Sprint 2, its a very durable and easy chassis to work with. And it pretty much comes with everything you need right out of the box!
