i was infomred you dnt need to buy everything in one visit. i.e. you can purchase on different receipts as long as purchases made within window of time for promotion (feb 15- april 30)

anyone have a recommendation for expo, dual rate and endpoint settings to tame my typhoon 2? i saw this question posted a wattflyer forum thread but no responses, and i thought it was a very good question.

basically, the zx10 radio that coems in the RTF has expo built in, but now that i am changing to a new radio (spektrum), am interested in knowing the optimal expo, dual rate settings so my next flight isn't too wild and hard to control. thanks

I downloaded the Typhoon 2 PNP manual from Parkzone's website. It has all of the control throw information.

I also started off with 30% Expo for Low rates and 60% for high. I have since dialed those back to 20/40%. The airplane is much more managable with expo.

Please can you give me a link to the pnp manual I have just bought one but the manual that is included does not give any throws or the cog position
Thanks

Thank you , one more question,
Since the PNP version which does not come with any radio gear I am going to use my Futaba tx and a spare 6 ch rx .
There is a wire from the ESC for the throttle plug on the receiver but there is no battery wire from the ESC.
does this throttle wire also supply power? do I plug it into ch 3 as normal?
Every receiver I have seen has a seperate battery connection hence my confusion.

The throttle plug on the RX will get power from the ESC (assuming it has a BEC). If you want to use an external battery then you cut the red wire between the ESC and the RX and plug a battery into the battery port.

Hey guys, I just got the Typhoon 2 today! I have been flying it on the sim for a while and have gotten pretty good. I set everything up and got everything ready to fly...I put the SFG's on too, but it seems like most people leave them off? In the sim, they seem like they stabilize it a bit-is that not the case in real life? Anyways, it might be a few days before I can maiden it because of wind, but I have my sim to pass the time. Also, one of my aileron servos did not work right away, I had to fudge with it a bit and it suddenly worked...does that mean it might die on me soon? I have a CX2 tx I am thinking about putting in, and if I do, I would upgrade the servos...just want to know if I should do it sooner or later.

leodeal384, swap the radio. No sense using the ZX10 when you have something better.

Whatever gives you peace of mind dude. Even with expensive upgraded parts, theres no guarantee they will work right.

The CX2 transmitter is Low Power. It's fine for the CX2 because you can't really fly that far away from yourself. I wouldn't recommend using it.
