Nope, shock springs are not made of aluminum. Maybe if they made titanium springs but the ano coat doesnt hold up well to bending/flexing. It'll crack and flake off.

To be honest with you guys we are still here as much as before but, as some of you know, we got a warning from the mods about our thread with a possibility of it getting deleted a while back. They saw all our pics of our work as a form of advertisment and us using RCU as a way to sell our service. Technically you could say this is true but it was never the intent of our thread. Also all our pics, from what we see, alot of you guys look forwards to seeing them just to see what we can come up with and thats what we enjoy about keeping this thread going. Yes because of it people contact us to see if they can have some parts done but how many other people who make home made parts, do great paint jobs on bodies or other unique stuff end up selling to other members because they saw pics of it on this forum. It is against the rules to use the forum in this way but i dont see the thread in this way, we are not constantly pushing our anodizing on you guys, just showing you our work and making new stuff based on the great ideas and suggestiong we get here.

After writing a long letter to the higher powers here at RCU we got a "stay of execution" but have to be more carefull in the future. For example we cant keep posting pics unless someone is asking to see it in an "information sharing" basis which is the main purpose of this forum.

We really would like it to be like old times where we had pics for you guys almost each week but if we do we risk deletion of the thread and maybe even temporary or permanent ban from the forum.

BUT, now that some of you have inquired about any progress i guess we can put up some pics, you guys did ask for it . Byte has them at home, im thinking he would have time to upload some maybe tomorow. Or just send em to me and i'll take care of it.

well i for 1 enjoyed seeing the pics each week as im sure most others on the site would have , its a shame that the mods see it as a sence to selling goods , which i really dont believe it is in any way form or shape, as i see it its a group of lads on a forum that are interested in seeing what is actually capable- through hard work and time - of been done to improve the looks of your beloved savage /rc car........

as an after thought , have you thought of setting up your own web page/site............ were items can be bought????????
im sure if you did you would make many people happy,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
