in response to MOOSEYANGE1 the advertisement for paul sherlock models was in an old issue of rc modeler from the early to mid 70,s again there were three models offered first was a 60 size 727 then there was a lear jet and finally there was a twin powered 707. It is my understanding that paul flew the 707 at quite a few scale contests and it was a real attention getter. FLYNAVY

Following this with interest - I had both the 727 and Learjet in the 1970s - the 727 actually flew better than the Lear. I'd love to have one today! Looks like at least one 727 is still out there flying! I finished mine in Eastern colors - the kit came without any markings. I'd chose National Airlines now...first real 727 I flew on.

BTW, Paul Sherlock only kitted the 727 and Learjet - it was a huge 747 (not 707) he scratch built and flew for many years. There was a prop driven 707
flown at the NATS in the late 60s you might be thinking of...Russ Farris

I agree with the electric ducted fan option. But NO FOAM! Must be balsa and light ply. However I still probably would not buy one as there are many other better looking airframes available.

Looks like it would be fun but IT may be very nose heavy or add lead to the tail to balance.

JETT Engineering now makes a .60 and it is on the .40/.50 case.
