Status: online 		If NitroPlanes agreed to build a plane similar to this would you be interested in buying one? Size somewhere around 80" wingspan powered buy a 60 size engine in the nose. It could be sold in 2 versions 1. A replica of a major airlines or 2. Plane white so the consumer can chose what they want the end product to look like. Maybe if we can drum up enough interest in something like this they will build it? There is nothing in the market place like this in terms of prop driven airliners. So what do you say any takers out there? I’m down for 2 of them.

Status: offline 		I feel I must add a qualifier before I say "yes"....i would hope that it would look a lot more scale than, say, the Cessna 310 by NP...not a putdown, but the main reason I didn't get the NP 310 was that it would take so much work to make it look more like one.

Wasn't really popular back then. Seems it came in Eastern Airlines colors. Took a .60; at the time the 60 was considered just about the largest rc airplane engine.
I do not remember the kit maker, but would recognise it in a multiple choice quiz. It was American made.
It was a good flying airplane.
That's all I can cme up with.

Status: online 		The airliner ARF was released in the mid 70's. It had an 82" wingspan and had around a 76" fuselage length. It was powered by a 60 size 2 stroke. They were not set up for retracts or flaps. --Of course I asked that those be included or optioned on a new version--- The market was not real big for them at the time of release so there were only a few out there and I'm sure even fewer still flying now --if any-- All radio gear was in the tail due to the long nose. I am hoping with today’s LASER CUT wood and CAD tech. that the new ARF version would look incredible and be very light as well. I'm sorry I can not recall the company that built them
