Status: offline 		Correct me if I'm wrong , but with the reciever power being regulated on the power expander, could you not run 8 volts to the board.
The reciever voltage would be regulated by the power expander? Is this feature also on the older 4804 boards?

All the PowerExpanders were designed so you could run with input voltages up to 8.5V, a 2-cell lithium pack. I have had several people do this when using Hitec 5995 servos. I know of only these servos that can handle the full voltage of lithium packs.
