narn -> SICAL oil? (3/29/2007 6:40:21 PM)

I have just read about the SICAL oil that Model Technics ( http://www.modeltechnics.co.uk/ ) have in some of their fuels, and, form what they say, it looks pretty good. Has anyone used it or seen anyone use it?

From the information on the web site, this appears to be an additive that is added TO the regular oil in the fuel to give better rust protection and carbon buildup. It is not an oil per se, but rather is an additive.

I saw that, but it was quicker to type just oil. Anyone used this stuff?

It's just another gimmick from Model Crapmix. The stuff absolutely stinks when it's being used.

If you want the best use this:- http://www.westonuk.co.uk/index_032.htm

I can second that.....It may well be an excellent oil but it is the most obnoxious smelling fuel I have ever come across.

As for the weston fuel being great...I dunno....but remember most 2 stroke engine makers won't entertain warranty claims on engines that have been run on pure synth....most say the fuel should contain at least 2% castor.
