What voltage will fry your glowplug?

What you would need to do is figure that out.. Then find a voltage regulator that will bump either the 7.4 or 11.1 volt lipo down to a suitable voltage for your glow plug..

Once you have done that, you're golden and can use it just as you would a nicad or nimh pack..

How do I find out what voltage my glow plugs can take and where can I find a regulator that will do this? My Li poly is 11.1 volts

Looks like the standard glow plug starters and on-board drivers are putting out ~1.5v..

If you already have a setup such as the one in the previous link or something like this:

http://www.sonictronics.com/xcart/customer/product.php?productid=16203&cat=310&page=1

and just want to run a lipo - what you'd need to do is pickup a 6v regulator - http://www.commonsenserc.com/product_info.php?cPath=32_40&products_id=51 and plug it all up..

Just curious- Why do you want to run a lipo on the glow plug, especially a 3S pack?

Well, they would definitely last much longer than a NiCd or NIMH..
