How would the GH4700 with the stock ST tires be? I have a spare fan that I could use to cool the motor if it gets to hot.

Oh it's quite a bit faster than stock. "not fast at all" is flat out wrong. It does run a bit hot.

in the ST it was slow.. and ran extremely hot.. the gh3600 was a better choice and ran cooler.. and faster.. i was not using the stock tires.. i was using the half8th ST tires,,, which makes a huge diference... i tried using 16/45 and 19/45 and none of them worked.. after 2 minutes of running i snatched the thing out.. it was too hot for conditions..

the gh4700 in the buggy though with half8th buggy tires was awesome..

Fair enough; I don't have a ST

I guess that I'm wither going to get the Permax or the GH3600. I'm also GOING to use the mamba-25 ESC. I just have to have the PC adjustably, I love that about the Mamba-25.

the gh4700 might workout just fine since the tires are about th same size.. well in relation to the half8th buggy tires..

the gh3600 is a good choice.. i have a video of mine running the gh3600 as well as the permax..

Yea the half 8 buggy tires are 63mm tall and the Vendetta ST tires are 66mm tall what would 3mm mean? There also wider so I don't know.

that bit of tallness is compounded by the the width... you will have more traction and more strain on the motor.. the buggy tires will break traction easier.. while the ST tires will take morre effort..

Will the permax be a good combo with the Mamba-25?

You'll have to tune the throttle curves down some, and definitely set it to lowest timing. In the buggy with half8 buggy wheels, I nearly melted the mamba's shrink when running the permax. When my 2nd permax shows, my 2nd quark is going back into my vendetta.

I have a fan so if I think that it's getting to warm I'm just mount the fan to cool the ESC. I hope that my next VR3 last me longer then my first one did even it might have been me adjusting the timing and messing up.
