i have a xb8tq with a blue headed vspec. i'm looking for a new engine for bashing that will impress a crowd. please tell me what engine i should buy for the best mid to top end performance for bashings only and i will adjust gearing accordingly. i'm looking at the 528xr and rb 928 so far. i owned 3 eingines. a force 21, a nova sbk-back in 1999, and an os vspec. i'm not very impressed with the v-spec. i was more impressed with the old novarossi bx sbk, maybe due to the vspec being smooth. also what buugy bell clutch gears are interchangable with the xray setup. the bells of my only other car(kyosho mp-6) are coming up short and too long if i swap the flywheel.

please tell me what engine and clutch/spur gear to buy for some impressive high speed bashing,

thank you

when you get a 528 you better start stacking up on diff rebuild /cvd's and eveything else in the drivetrain , cause it will take a beating with that engine...

RB C6 BB, I took my losi 8ight out yesterday to show a friend and see how things were before today (track day) and by the time it was said and done there was 2 guys on bikes, a car packed with people pulled over, 5 neighbors from across the street, and 2 little kids all watching and asking me a million questions as I'm trying to avoid curbs and mailboxes etc.... I dont think anymore speed would be controllable (had a 14T on it yesterday to smooth it out and it was still crazy off the bottom). I cant say that if you were looking for the most insane engine for straight up top speed the NR528XR, or RB928 wouldnt be the way to go as you can gear the snot out of those, but for a .21 I dont think you'll find much more unmodified insanity than the C6, I can only imagine a mod.
